Role Overview:

We are seeking an entry-level Azure Cloud Operations & Automation Engineer responsible for managing Azure operational tasks, access governance, and infrastructure automation.

This role includes handling ServiceNow tickets related to Azure access, Microsoft Entra ID administration, App Registrations, PIM management, firewall/network access changes, Azure DevOps & GitHub administration, and infrastructure deployment using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).

This is a hands-on engineering role combining operations, identity governance, and infrastructure-as-code.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Cloud Operations:

• Monitor and resolve Azure-related ServiceNow tickets
• Provision and manage Azure resources (VMs, VMSS, AKS, Function Apps, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Key Vault)
• Assign RBAC roles at subscription/resource level
• Troubleshoot production issues
• Support firewall, NSG, Private Endpoint, and DNS changes

Identity & Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID):

• Create and manage App Registrations
• Configure API permissions & admin consent
• Manage Enterprise Applications
• Administer Entra security groups
• Manage PIM eligible assignments
• Troubleshoot SSO and access failures

Infrastructure as Code & Automation:

Deploy Azure resources using:

• Terraform
• ARM templates
• Bicep

Write automation scripts using:

• PowerShell
• Bash
• Python
• Integrate IaC with CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain modular, reusable infrastructure code

DevOps & GitHub Administration:

• Create and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines
• Manage Azure DevOps project access
• Administer GitHub repositories & branch policies
• Support GitHub Actions workflows
• Automate deployments using pipelines

ITSM & Documentation:

• Handle ServiceNow incidents and service requests
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Maintain technical documentation
