Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to design and evolve an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that enables self-service infrastructure, streamlined deployments, and improved developer experience.

You will work with a global engineering team focusing on cloud-native platform engineering, automation, and developer productivity tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build internal developer platforms enabling self-service infrastructure and deployments.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes environments on Azure.
• Build and maintain Backstage developer portal (Software Catalog, Scaffolder, TechDocs).
• Extend Backstage plugins to automate service onboarding, CI/CD, and governance workflows.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code modules using Terraform or Bicep.
• Build automation and provisioning layers using Crossplane.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates using GitHub Actions.
• Integrate security, governance, compliance, and observability into platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to improve developer productivity and platform adoption.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Kubernetes and cloud platform operations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (Networking, Identity, Key Vault).
• Experience implementing Backstage-based Internal Developer Portals.
• Experience with Crossplane for infrastructure abstraction.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Platform Engineering principles and developer experience.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.
• Self-starter mindset with ability to work in distributed teams.
