Job Summary
HCL Domino Notes Administrator.
Responsibilities
Installing configuring and managing HCL Domino servers across different environments.
Monitoring server health performance metrics and resource utilization.
Performing server upgrades patching and maintenance tasks.
Managing server replication schedules and ensuring data consistency across replicas.
Creating modifying and deleting user accounts within the Domino Directory.
Managing user access controls and permissions on databases and applications.
Implementing security policies including password management and encryption.
Creating managing and maintaining Domino databases (mail files applications etc.).
Designing and deploying database replication strategies
Troubleshooting database issues and resolving data corruption problems
Supporting custom Domino applications developed using Lotus Notes Designer. Network and Security
Configuring Domino server network settings including IP addresses and ports
Managing SSL certificates and ensuring secure communication
Implementing security measures to protect against unauthorized access
Utilizing Domino monitoring tools to identify performance bottlenecks and potential issues
Generating reports on server health user activity and system usage
Deep understanding of HCL Domino administration concepts including server configuration replication security and directory services.
Familiarity with Domino Designer and XPages for application development
Knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP and DNS
Ability to troubleshoot complex Domino issues and identify root causes
Strong analytical skills to diagnose performance problems and implement solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with users developers and other IT teams
Certifications Required
