Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect with 59 years of experience who is highly hands-on and capable of building Proof of Concepts (POCs), solutions to validate architecture decisions. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong design skills, and the ability to translate business ideas into working cloud solutions and SoW creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud solutions with a hands-on approach
• Build and own POCs to validate architecture, performance, scalability, and security
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose cloud-native/ 3rd party solutions
• Lead solution design across application, infrastructure, data, and security layers
• Develop reference architectures, technical blueprints, design documents, and SoW creation
• Guide development teams during implementation and cloud adoption
• Support cloud migrations, modernization, and re-architecture initiatives
• Ensure best practices for security, high availability, cost optimization, and performance
• Troubleshoot complex cloud and application issues

Required Skills & Experience

• 59 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on cloud implementation exposure
• 5+ years of hands-on experience on one or more public cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle
• Strong experience in:
• Cloud compute, storage, networking, DBs and security services
• Designing highly available, scalable, and resilient architectures
• Building POCs and demos for cloud solutions
• Hands-on experience with:
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.)
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and cloud-native application design
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance basics
• Ability to estimate cloud costs and optimize usage

Good to Have

• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud architectures
• Exposure to serverless architectures
• Experience with data platforms, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures
• Cloud certifications (either or all) Associate, Specialty, Professional in AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle
• Prior experience working on customer-facing POCs or pre-sales engagements
