Job Summary

Experienced Cloud Solution Consultant responsible for designing cloud-based solutions, supporting pre-sales activities, and helping organizations with digital transformation. The role involves understanding business challenges, creating scalable cloud solutions, handling RFPs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused technology outcomes.


Position Overview / Key Responsibilities

  • Understand customer business challenges and technical requirements.
  • Design cloud-enabled solutions for application modernization and data-center migration across public cloud platforms.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop solutions aligned with industry use cases and business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with OEM partners (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Work on complex RFP/RFI/RFQ proposals for enterprise and public sector clients.


Technical Skills

  • Solution design experience on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud).
  • Knowledge of storage, disaster recovery, databases, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, FastConnect).
  • Experience in on-premises to cloud migration and data-center transformation.
  • Knowledge of OpenStack, licensing models, subscriptions, and compute infrastructure.


Functional Skills

  • Provide pre-sales solution support to sales teams.
  • Create solution architecture documents and proposal responses (RFP/RFI/RFQ).
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, workshops, and POCs.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineering, product, and sales teams.
  • Prepare business cases, effort estimations, service designs, and RACI matrices.
  • Lead complex projects and ensure quality delivery.
  • Contribute to achieving regional sales targets.
  • Maintain OEM partnerships and support product incubation initiatives.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (MBA preferred).
  • 712 years overall experience (up to 15 years acceptable).
  • Minimum 46 years in cloud pre-sales or solution consulting roles.
  • Cloud certifications preferred (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle).
  • Experience working with enterprise and SMB customers.
