We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Security & Load Balancing Specialist to support our cloud infrastructure initiatives, focusing on web application security and traffic management across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Armor, OCI WAF, Cloud Load Balancers (GCP & OCI), and F5 Load Balancer in cloud deployments. Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible is considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Application Firewall (WAF) – Google Cloud Armor & OCI WAF

- Design and implement WAF policies to protect applications from OWASP Top 10 threats, DDOS and Bot defense.

- Configure IP-based access control, rate limiting, and geo-blocking rules.

- Monitor and tune security policies based on traffic patterns and threat intelligence.

- Collaborate with application teams to define custom rules and exceptions.

Cloud Load Balancing – GCP & OCI

- Deploy and manage Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancers in Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

- Configure health checks, backend services, SSL termination, and traffic routing.

- Optimize performance and availability through intelligent load distribution.

- Troubleshoot latency, failover, and connectivity issues.

F5 Load Balancer (Cloud)

- Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP in cloud environments (GCP, OCI).

- Implement iRules, SSL offloading, and application delivery policies.

- Integrate F5 with cloud-native services and automation tools.

- Ensure high availability and security of critical applications.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and security.

- Strong understanding of HTTP/S protocols, DNS, and TCP/IP networking.

- Experience with Google Cloud Armor and OCI WAF rule sets and policy management.

- Hands-on experience with GCP and OCI Load Balancers.

- Proficiency in F5 BIG-IP configuration and cloud deployment models.

- Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation is preferred

- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities

- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage priorities
