Position Overview

We are seeking a high-calibre Field Sales Executive to join our inaugural Cloud Vertical team in Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Chennai. In this role, you will be a key driver of our market expansion, responsible for establishing siliconops.ai as a leader in the public cloud domain. You will engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers to articulate the value of our cloud solutions, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and long-term strategic partnerships.


Core Roles and Responsibilities

Market Development: Proactively identify and qualify high-potential leads through systematic market research, executive networking, and strategic outreach.

Segment Business Development: Identify and penetrate mid-market opportunities by cultivating relationships with IT managers and business owners who are prioritising cybersecurity and business process automation.

End-to-End Sales Lifecycle: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and warm lead follow-ups to negotiating multi-year service agreements.

Cloud Advocacy: Deliver persuasive demonstrations of siliconops.ais hybrid cloud, cyber resiliency, and smart network capabilities, showcasing clear ROI for organisations scaling their digital presence.

Retention & Upselling: Ensure seamless post-sales transitions and maintain executive-level relationships to guarantee client satisfaction and account retention.

Intelligence Gathering: Monitor emerging industry trends, competitor positioning, and market shifts to inform internal product roadmaps and sales strategies.

Performance Metrics: Consistently meet and exceed established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly and quarterly revenue targets..


Qualifications and Professional Skills

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 35 years of proven experience in field sales or institutional business development, ideally within the IT Services, Telecom, or Cloud Infrastructure sectors.

Sales Acumen: A documented track record of achieving sales quotas and managing B2B sales cycles.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives.

Technical Proficiency: A foundational understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments, networking, storage, and database management is highly advantageous.

Operational Excellence: Proficient in CRM management (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and modern sales productivity tools.

Attributes: Highly self-motivated, disciplined in time management, and capable of operating with minimal supervision in a high-growth environment.
