Cloud Platform Engineer - Sr Analyst

As a member of the Cloud Platform team, you will be crafting, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise-wide cloud infrastructure to support the growth and scalability of our platform. You bring innovative ways and new technologies to help improve our platform. With this position we offer

Join the Cloud Platform and Solutions Engineering organization for Nasdaq. The main objective for the engineering team in Bangalore is to build powerful cloud platform for internal customers. As our new member, you will work with a group of hardworking and authoritative team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for delivery of improvements, support and maintenance of the Nasdaq cloud platform.

Your role and responsibilities:

 In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support the growth and scalability of our platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud solutions

• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing

We expect you to have strong experience with

• Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure

• Cloud architecture and infrastructure

• Python and/or PowerShell

• Automated deployment pipelines

• Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science or equivalent

• Language Qualification: You will be speaking on a daily basis with collogues all over the world. We require fluency in English and excellent communication skills

You should have

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

It would be great if you have

• Hands-on experience with AI tooling and understand AI concepts

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of network basics such as route tables, firewalls, port-forwarding and CIDR ranges

• The entire lifecycle of supporting a production system
