Summary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Your typical day will involve deploying infrastructure and platform environments, creating a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of cloud-based projects and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Design and develop cloud application solutions using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Deploy infrastructure and platform environments for cloud-based projects. - Create proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and platform environments. - Experience with deploying and managing cloud-based applications. - Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments. - Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years fulltime education is required.
