Position Overview: As a Junior AWS Cloud Data Engineer, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of our AWS-based data infrastructure. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working on real-world data engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities: ? Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services (e.g., AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift). ? Support data integration tasks, including extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources. ? Help monitor and optimize data workflows to ensure efficient performance and data accuracy. ? Work with senior data engineers and other team members to understand data requirements and implement solutions. ? Participate in data modelling and schema design activities to support business intelligence and analytics. ? Assist with data quality assurance tasks, including data validation and error troubleshooting. ? Document processes, data flows, and technical configurations as needed. ? Stay up-to-date with AWS services and data engineering best practices. Technical experience: ? Good understanding of AWS services related to data engineering, such as Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and AWS Glue. ? Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. ? Some experience or coursework in programming languages such as Python or Java is preferred. ? Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. ? Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ? Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: ? practical experience with AWS or data engineering tasks is a plus. ? Knowledge of data modelling concepts and ETL processes. ? Familiarity with version control systems like Git.15 years full time education
