Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and Snowflake, with hands-on experience designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. This role involves working closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and performant data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse .
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for structured and semi-structured data using SQL and integration tools.
• Create and manage Snowflake objects including schemas, tables, views, warehouses, roles, and security models .
• Implement performance tuning strategies such as query optimization, clustering, and caching.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and third-party tools.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using tools like Informatica/IICS, Talend, DBT, Airflow (based on project requirements).
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational standards and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Snowflake and advanced SQL programming .
• Experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Knowledge of data modeling , data warehousing concepts , and performance optimization .
• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, DBT, or similar.
• Understanding of data governance , security , and compliance standards .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Informatica/IICS , Talend , or similar ETL tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and version control systems .
• Certification in Snowflake or cloud platforms is a plus.
