Role Objective

We are seeking a Cloud Architect specializing in Azure migration with strong DevOps capabilities to lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. The role focuses on designing migration strategies, implementing Azure-native architectures, enabling automation, and integrating DevOps practices into cloud delivery.

The position requires hands-on expertise across Azure, identity, governance, automation, and enterprise platform integration (OpenText, Micro Focus, IDOL).

Key Responsibilities

Azure Migration & Transformation

• Lead end-to-end migration of on-premise and legacy systems to Microsoft Azure.
• Design migration strategies using Azure Migration tools and modernization frameworks.
• Assess existing environments, dependencies, and workloads to determine migration approach.
• Execute rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies aligned with business objectives.

Cloud Architecture & Design

• Architect secure and scalable Azure environments across IaaS and PaaS.
• Build enterprise landing zones and subscription governance models.
• Define policies, RBAC models, and identity integrations using Azure AD.
• Establish high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency patterns.

DevOps Enablement

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Integrate DevOps practices into migration and modernization programs.
• Use Git-based workflows, release management processes, and automation frameworks.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Develop and manage IaC using ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Automate provisioning using Azure CLI and scripting tools.
• Build reusable automation frameworks for environment standardization.

Enterprise Platform Integration

• Support migration and integration of enterprise platforms such as OpenText, Micro Focus, and IDOL into Azure environments.
• Design hybrid architectures for legacy workloads and enterprise systems.

Identity, Security & Governance

• Implement Azure AD identity architecture and access control.
• Configure RBAC, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with security and enterprise standards.

Scripting & Operations

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Support operational readiness, monitoring, and environment management.
