Software Development Test Engineer II

Responsibilities:

• Execute software testing activities within an Agile organization, focusing on technologies supporting clinical trials, including custom internal applications and APIs developed in a .NET environment.
• Develop and maintain verification and validation test plans, reports, and traceability matrices to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to review and refine deliverables.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks, particularly for .NET applications and associated APIs, ensuring robust coverage for functional, end-to-end, and integration scenarios.
• Work with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and test management systems, enhancing feedback cycles for Agile development.
• Translate manual test cases into automation scripts, leveraging system requirements and story acceptance criteria as reference points. Write scripts directly for new and complex requirements where applicable.
• Provide feedback to improve testing methodologies, frameworks, and Agile SDLC processes, ensuring continuous quality improvement in clinical trial software solutions.

Requirements:

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and programming languages, with a strong preference for .NET technologies (e.g., C#). Proficiency in other languages such as Python or Java is also acceptable.
• Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience: At least 2 years in a Software Development Test Engineer or related role, preferably in environments involving .NET-based applications.
