Client Relationship Manager – Feedstock Procurement & Vendor Partnerships

This role is best suited for professionals with procurement experience in biodiesel, oleochemical, edible oil, or biofuel supply chains.

We are looking for an experienced Client Relationship Manager Feedstock Procurement to lead vendor partnerships and strategic sourcing for feedstock used in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), oleochemicals, and specialty chemical production.

This role is focused on developing supplier ecosystems, negotiating long-term supply agreements, and ensuring reliable feedstock availability from aggregators, refiners, and commodity traders. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to bio-based feedstock markets such as Used Cooking Oil (UCO), vegetable oil derivatives, fatty acids, and refinery by-products.

The position requires a commercially driven professional capable of managing supplier relationships, procurement strategy, logistics coordination, and sustainability compliance frameworks.

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable feedstock suppliers including aggregators, collectors, traders, refiners, and processors.
• Build strategic sourcing partnerships for UCO, acid oils, PFAD, fatty acids, vegetable oil derivatives, and other bio-based feedstocks.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, audits, and performance evaluations.

• Negotiate commercial supply contracts, pricing frameworks, and long-term supply agreements.
• Monitor global and domestic feedstock commodity trends to optimize procurement strategies.
• Collaborate with finance and leadership on cost optimization and procurement planning.

• Manage bulk feedstock movement including tanker logistics, bulk shipments, and storage coordination.
• Coordinate with operations, production, and quality teams to ensure consistent material availability.
• Oversee documentation and compliance related to traceability and regulatory requirements.

• Support sustainability frameworks including ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).
• Ensure feedstock traceability aligned with global SAF guidelines and CORSIA sustainability requirements.
• Maintain documentation related to carbon intensity, lifecycle emissions, and supply traceability.

• Develop supplier scorecards measuring quality, delivery reliability, pricing, and compliance.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement alternate sourcing strategies.
• Optimize inventory planning and working capital cycles.

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management (MBA preferred).
• 48 years of experience in procurement, feedstock sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Industry experience in SAF, biodiesel, oleochemicals, edible oils, or specialty chemicals.
• Strong understanding of bio-based feedstock markets (UCO, PFAD, acid oils, fatty acids, vegetable oil derivatives).
• Proven experience in vendor negotiations, commodity sourcing, and bulk logistics coordination.
