Job Description
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out client due diligence and collation of supporting documents for a variety of new and existing clients and updating on a periodic basis.
- Screening of clients for sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and adverse media. Providing appropriate level of support to the Risk Partner to help them assess the risk profile.
- Input the due diligence information and documentation into firm's systems for onward submission and review. To lead by example in demonstrating that they are reliable and self motivated, placing high priority on achieving quality in all tasks they complete. Liaise with the client facing teams to obtain further information and/or documentation where this has not been provided or is not available from open sources. Recognizing anomalies or issues, and escalating matters as appropriate.
- IT skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point, as well as knowledge of internet tools
- Works well within a team environment, developing and maintaining relationships within the team and wider firm
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Communication skills (written and verbal) are required together with the ability to work under time pressure and to deadlines
