Job Title: Regional Business Manager

Department: Business Development / Sales

Reports To: Director / CEO

Location: Mumbai Region

Industry: HR Business Consulting Company

Working Days: 6 Days (2nd & 4th Saturday and All Sundays are fixed Off)

Qualification: Graduate / MBA

Experience: 10+ Years from HR Staffing / HR Advisory / HR Software Industry

CTC Budget: 15 LPA & Above

Job Mode: Work from Office

Preferred:Experience selling HR advisory, recruitment, payroll, L&D, or compliance services


Role Overview

This is a consultative sales leadership role where you will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, drive new client acquisition, and grow strategic accounts through insight-led solutioning. You will work closely with internal delivery and research teams to ensure high-quality outcomes, while positioning as a long-term partner to promoters, boards, and CXOs.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and target potential clients across industries (SMEs, corporates, startups).
  • Drive new client acquisition through consultative selling and strategic relationship-building.
  • Develop and execute client acquisition strategies aligned with revenue goals.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, events, digital outreach, and partnerships.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects.

Senior Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and deepen relationships with Promoters, Board Members, CXOs, CHROs, and senior leaders.
  • Understand client business context, leadership challenges, and talent priorities to offer tailored solutions.

Consultative Sales & Client Engagement

  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client HR challenges and needs.
  • Present tailored HR advisory solutions to decision-makers (HR Heads, CEOs, Founders).
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and service agreements.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Brand & Market Presence

  • Represent Company at HR, leadership, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  • Strengthen HR Companys positioning as a leading HR consulting partner.

Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding in collaboration with HR consultants.
  • Support account expansion and cross-selling opportunities.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track KPIs including lead conversion rate, revenue targets, client acquisition cost.
  • Maintain CRM records and sales reports.
  • Provide weekly/monthly pipeline updates to management.


What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales, preferably in HR consulting, professional services, or knowledge-driven industries.
  • Strong exposure to CXO-level engagement, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Established relationships with HR leaders, promoters, and boards across industries.
  • Proven strengths in consultative selling, business development, negotiation, and strategic account management.
  • Ability to work independently as an Individual Contributor while collaborating cross-functionally.
