Title - Cleanroom & Contamination Manager

A senior technical leadership role responsible for cleanroom contamination control, yield improvement, and fab-level contamination prevention strategy across particles, chemicals, metals, organics, ionic contamination, and AMC. Requires deep semiconductor fabrication knowledge, strong analytical background, and the ability to lead cross-functional contamination-reduction initiatives.

What Youll Do

In this role, youll be the cleanroom & contamination control champion for our fab. You will:

• Keep our cleanroom and tools contaminationfree (particles, chemicals, metals, organics, AMC).
• Build and maintain automated monitoring systems to catch issues early.
• Lead rootcause investigations using data from tools, inline metrology, defect maps, chemicals, gases, and FOUP/AMHS history.
• Define contamination standards for new tools, moves, and process changes.
• Work closely with Process, Equipment, Yield, QA, Facilities & Production to improve yield and prevent contamination risks.
• Run controlled experiments (DOEs) and lead improvement projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and present findings to leadership.

What You Bring

• M.S / M.Tech in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
• 7+ years semiconductor fab experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of analytical tools (SEM, ICPMS, chromatography).
• Strong understanding of wafer fabrication flows and contamination mechanisms.
• Proven experience improving yield and solving complex problems.
• Ability to drive cross-functional teams and deliver results.
