Job Description

Position Name - Manager / Senior Manager

Location - Mumbai

Experience Range - 6 - 10 years

Mandatory Requirement:

  • Must be from the insurance broking industry
  • Must have expertise in in General insurance Claims.
  • Strong knowledge of Property and Bankers Indemnity claims.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end handling of high-value claims- Fire, Engineering & Bankers Indemnity claims
  • Exposure-based handling of Fire and Engineering claims
  • Review of surveyor and investigation reports
  • Policy interpretation, Documentation compliance, and loss computation
  • Support negotiations and resolution of escalated claims within a timeframe.
  • Portfolio monitoring and management MIS
  • This role requires frequent traveling to various loss locations/ clients office.
  • Settlement ratio for Fire & Engineering claims
  • Timely handling of large-loss claims
  • Negotiation outcomes with various stakeholders
  • Effectiveness of junior team support

Qualification and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, insurance, finance, or a related
  • field is preferred. MBA will be an added advantage.
  • 7-9 years of experience in General insurance Claims. Strong knowledge of
  • Property and Bankers Indemnity claims.
  • Relevant certifications from III
  • Proficient in using claims management systems, CRM software, and
  • Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
