Role Objective:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound Structural Design Engineer to join our structural division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis and design of complex bridge structures, ensuring compliance with national standards and project specifications. You will work under the guidance of industry veterans to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Structural Design: Perform end-to-end design of bridge components including superstructures (Box Culverts, Steel Trusses, Composite I-Girders) and substructures (Abutments, Piers, and Foundations).

Analysis: Conduct rigorous structural analysis using industry-standard software and manual "first-principle" calculations to verify results.

Code Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to IRC (Indian Roads Congress) and IS (Indian Standards) codes of practice.

Drawing Review: Review and approve GADs (General Arrangement Drawings), reinforcement schedules (BBS), and fabrication drawings to ensure they align with design intent.

Technical Reporting: Prepare comprehensive Design Basis Reports (DBR) and technical specifications for client submission.

Coordination: Collaborate with site engineers and draftsmen to resolve technical queries during the construction phase.

Technical Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced expertise in STAAD.Pro or MIDAS Civil.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing review.
• Advanced Excel skills for custom design spreadsheet development.
• Domain Knowledge: Indian codes and standards.
• Experience in Reinforced Concrete (RCC) and Prestressed Concrete (PSC) design.
• Familiarity with Steel-Concrete Composite design is highly desirable.

Required Competencies

Analytical Rigor: Ability to identify structural inconsistencies and perform root-cause analysis.

Professional Communication: Capable of explaining complex technical concepts to stakeholders and clients.

Independence: Proven ability to take ownership of a design module from concept to final approval.
