Hiring: Civil Purchase Engineer / Purchase Manager
Location: Chennai Corporate Office
Experience: 5 15 Years
Industry: EPC / Construction
We are looking for an experienced Civil Purchase Engineer / Purchase Manager for our Corporate Office in Chennai to handle procurement activities for ongoing and upcoming EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials
- Vendor identification, evaluation & development
- Floating enquiries, techno-commercial comparison & negotiations
- Preparation of purchase orders & contract agreements
- Coordination with project sites for material planning & delivery
- Rate analysis and cost optimization
- Monitoring material dispatch, logistics & payment follow-ups
- Maintaining procurement MIS reports
- Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies
Required Profile:
- 515 years of experience in Civil Procurement in EPC / Construction companies
- Strong knowledge of civil materials (Steel, Cement, RMC, Structural Steel, Finishing Materials, etc.)
- Experience handling corporate-level procurement for multiple projects
- Strong vendor network and negotiation skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred:
- Experience in handling large-scale commercial / industrial / infrastructure projects
- Exposure to ERP systems
