Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Engineer located in Mumbai.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Civil Engineer to oversee on-site construction, ensure quality control, manage contractors, and handle day-to-day project execution. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in civil works, finishing, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage site operations and labor.

Monitor daily progress and ensure timely completion of civil works.

Verify material quality, quantity, and usage as per BOQ and drawings.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors.

Prepare daily site reports, measurements, and progress updates.

Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Support billing, estimation, and quantity surveying activities.

Technical Domains of ExpertiseA. Design & AnalysisRCC and Steel structure design as per IS codes (IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893).Foundation, column, slab, beam, and retaining wall design.Load calculation, seismic, and wind analysis.Preparation of structural drawings and reinforcement detailing.B. Quantity Surveying & EstimationBOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost control.Bar bending schedules (BBS) and quantity take-offs.DPR (Daily Progress Report), MPR (Monthly Progress Report).Billing and contractor verification.C. Project Execution & Site ManagementSite supervision for civil, finishing, and MEP coordination.Layout marking, leveling, concreting, curing, and finishing works.Contractor and manpower management.Quality checks for concrete, steel, and material tests.Safety and environmental compliance.D. Documentation & ReportingSite reports, checklists, progress charts.As-built drawings, QA/QC documentation.Coordination with architects and consultants.

Skills Required:

Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation tools.

Strong understanding of RCC, finishing, and MEP coordination.

Excellent communication and team management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on-site.
