Civil Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work execution as per drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor and manage resources such as manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently.
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones as per schedule.
• Maintain site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurement.
• Assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work bills.
• Conduct quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, company standards, and safety norms.
• Resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with project managers and consultants.
• Communicate effectively with the project team, clients, and management.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards
• Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools (preferred)
• Good leadership and team coordination skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Willingness to work at project sites across Tamil Nadu

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
