Civil Engineer for Tendering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to lead our Tendering & Estimation process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, compiling tender documents, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure competitive and compliant bids. This role is crucial in helping the company secure new civil construction projects efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil works including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within stipulated deadlines.
• Maintain a database ofDrawing, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for cost benchmarking and All Important Documents.
• Evaluate and finalize rate analysis based on market conditions and internal standards.
• Follow up with clients for tender clarifications, post-bid discussions, and negotiation.
• Track tender status and maintain documentation for all tendering activities.

Ability to interpret arch. & structural drawings.

• Preparation of BBS
• Preparing RA bills & reconciliation statements

Preparation of work order for sub-contractors & vendors

• To take accurate physical measurements at site for verification & bill certification.

Co-ordination with clients, consultants, contractors & sub- contractors for drawings., specifications, tendering work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E. (Civil) with 3 to 5 years of experience in civil construction estimation and tendering.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction methods, and market rates.
• Proficient in estimation software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, or any similar tools).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
