Civil Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer with strong exposure to industrial and high-tech facilities such as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Semiconductor, and Data Center projects. The role involves civil and structural design, coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with international codes, standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute civil and structural design activities for industrial and mission-critical facilities.
• Prepare and review design deliverables including:
• Site grading, earthwork, and drainage layouts
• Foundations (equipment foundations, pile foundations, mat foundations)
• Underground utilities and stormwater management systems
• Roads, pavements, and external works
• Perform design calculations using relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, IS, Eurocodes, etc.).
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and architectural teams.
• Interface with clients, PMC, and contractors during design reviews and technical discussions.
• Review vendor drawings and technical submissions.
• Support constructability reviews and resolve site-related technical queries.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project schedule requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering.
• 815 years of relevant experience in civil/structural design for industrial projects.
• Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors:
• Oil & Gas
• Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences
• Semiconductor manufacturing facilities
• Data Centers
• Strong knowledge of international and local design codes and standards.
• Hands-on experience with design tools such as:
• AutoCAD / MicroStation
• STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 (or similar analysis software)
• Experience working in EPC / EPCM environments is preferred.
