About the Team

The Fruit Mandi team is the youngest and fastest-growing team at Ninjacart, focused on solving some of the most complex problems in the fruits industry. We operate pan-Indiafrom Kashmir to Kanyakumariworking closely across sourcing and distribution to build a strong, scalable supply chain. Our work also extends globally, engaging with international fruit sourcing and distribution networks. Driven by a bold mission, we are building Indias best fruit supply chainefficient, transparent, and powered by deep execution on the ground.

Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify new business wholesale customers or traders in the Fruits segment within and/or outside the Fruits market area, analyze market trends, and develop effective strategies to expand our presence in the industry.

Key Account Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with wholesale customers / wholesale traders dealing in Fruits segment - inside/outside the market

Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets, including cross-selling and upselling opportunities

Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with traders, ensuring the successful execution of contracts and agreements

Market Intelligence: Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities, providing valuable insights to the management team

Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales, key account management or business development, preferably within the Fruits industry

Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to close deals effectively

Result Orientation: Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to travel frequently, adapt to changing market conditions, and work in a fast-paced environment

Relationship Building Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain

relationships with clients at various levels within organizations

Fruits Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Fruits industry, including its

dynamics, key players, and market trends

Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret
