Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Cisco Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for a large onsite environment (600700 users). The role is primarily remote, but the candidate must be based close to Bangalore and available for onsite support when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco routing and switching environments.
• Support network operations for a large user base in a corporate setting.
• Handle network incidents, performance issues, and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors as needed.
• Provide onsite support when required (not daily).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 35 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer .
• Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching .
• Experience with Cisco / Meraki / Fortinet environments.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setup.

Nice to Have:

• Overall IT infrastructure exposure.
• Knowledge of server/storage environments .
• Relevant networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP preferred, not mandatory).

Work Model:

• Mostly remote
• Onsite presence required occasionally (candidate must be Bangalore-based or nearby)
