CI-CD Automation Engineer

Job Title: CI/CD Automation Engineer (SAS & Unix)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled CI/CD Automation Engineer with expertise in SAS advanced programming and Unix shell scripting to design, develop, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for SAS Viya environments. The role involves integrating SAS jobs into CI/CD workflows, ensuring seamless deployment, testing, and execution across Dev, UAT, and Production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for SAS workloads using GitLab and Artifactory.

•Automate deployment, testing, and validation of SAS programs and scripts.

•Write and maintain Unix shell scripts for job orchestration and automation.

•Collaborate with DevOps, data engineers, and SAS developers to streamline workflows.

•Manage source code versioning, build automation, and release management.

•Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for data pipelines.

Qualifications:

•Proficiency in SAS advanced programming (Base SAS, Macro, SQL).

•Expertise in Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation.

•Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory).

•Familiarity with SAS Viya or SAS 9.4 environments.

•Strong understanding of DevOps practices and deployment automation.

•Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

•Experience with Snowflake or cloud-based data platforms.

•Knowledge of OAuth authentication and secure credential management.

•Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
