Job Description
Politics is fought on the streets and on the screen. ILF is looking for a Social Media Content Manager who can shape narratives, not just schedule posts.
What Youll Do
Create sharp political content in Bengali, Hindi & English
Turn speeches, issues, and field realities into reels, posts, threads & carousels
Manage ILFs presence across X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube & WhatsApp
Track political moments and respond in real time
Work comfortably in fast-paced, politically sensitive environments
Use tools like Canva, Adobe Lightroom, AI video generation (Sora, Veo, etc), script writing, etc.
Understand and use basic analytics and content scheduling tools
Who You Are
Fluent in Bengali, Hindi & English (reading, writing, and comprehension mandatory)
Have a strong interest in Indian politics, public discourse, and political communication
Can write clear, persuasive, and culturally grounded content
Have 13 years of experience in social media, media, political communication, or advocacy (Students of Journalism / Mass Communication are welcome)
Or an avid social media user who actively engages with political content and understands platforms deeply
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
Experience with political organisations, campaigns, think tanks, or advocacy groups
Ability to identify grassroots stories and translate them digitally
Basic understanding of video scripting and visual storytelling
