Chief Technology Officer

Veritiq.ai is a fast-growing AI-powered SaaS platform redefining how organizations manage operational compliance, risk, and auditsstarting with the mortgage and real estate industry. We are seeking a hands-on, visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology function from our Kolkata HQ (Rajarhat). This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in AI/ML and a proven track record building and scaling software products and high-performing teams.

Lead the technology strategy and execution for Veritiqs AI-first SaaS platform

• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems from the ground up
• Drive hands-on prototyping and architecture reviews; stay closely engaged in coding when needed
• Lead and mentor a growing engineering organization of 50+ developers across AI, product, and backend teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Compliance, and Business to bring AI-powered features to life
• Implement and oversee Agile development processes, code quality, and DevOps best practices
• Own system uptime, performance, and scalability as the platform evolves

• 10+ years in software development, including recent hands-on engineering work
• Proven experience managing large-scale development teams (50+)
• Strong expertise in AI/ML systems and automated software development pipelines
• Expert in software architecture and scalable SaaS platforms
• Deep understanding of Agile and product lifecycle management
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
• Experience in compliance, risk, or data-intensive sectors is a plus

This is an in-person role based in Rajarhat, Kolkata, India. Applicants must be willing to work on-site full time.
