Chief Technology Officer

Were expanding our technology team at Diamond Atelier , a New Yorkbased lab-grown diamond company launching multiple new digital brands including our upcoming D2C jewelry brand. Our Mumbai creative & tech team is growing fast, and were looking for a Senior Backend Engineer / Technical Lead who can take ownership of backend architecture and lead our in-house web development & UI/UX team.

What Youll Build

• Architect, develop, and maintain RESTful & GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Build scalable backend systems using Node.js, Python, or Java , working with MongoDB & PostgreSQL .
• Design optimized database schemas, queries, and indexing for speed and performance.
• Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and multi-container environments.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead and oversee deployments on AWS (ECS, ECR, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch) .
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Work closely with frontend, design, creative, and product teams to deliver full-stack solutions.
• Uphold best practices in code quality, performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues, drive root-cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
• Mentor junior engineers, guide designers on feasibility, and ensure smooth sprint execution.
