Are you an experienced Chief Software Architect with deep expertise in scalable, cloud-native design? EVA is expanding our engineering capability, and were looking for a hands-on architectural leader to define the blueprint for multiple SaaS platforms across our portfolio.

About the Role

You will own core architecture decisions, guide engineering teams, and ensure every product we acquire evolves into a secure, reliable, AI-native platform.

What You Will Do

• Accountable for the integrity and quality of every line of code across the product, with end-to-end ownership of the GitHub codebase.
• Own the overall modular architecture, low-level design, and technical structure of the product, ensuring all code check-ins meet defined architectural standards.
• Assume full accountability for code written by the engineering team, maintaining architectural coherence, scalability, and maintainability.
• Embed AI-assisted programming methodologies into day-to-day engineering workflows to enhance productivity, quality, and velocity.
• Operate as a rigorous architectural leader focused on engineering excellencenot a vibe coder, and not a conventional hands-on programmer role.
• Maintain flexibility in selecting and leveraging modern AI-enabled development tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, and similar platforms) to optimize team effectiveness.
• Translates product and business requirements into scalable, secure, highperformance designs for web, mobile, and AI features.
• Guides technology choices (languages, frameworks, cloud services), defines coding and design standards.
• Reviews and approves solution designs, resolves complex technical issues, and ensures systems are reliable, observable, and costefficient.
• Lead transformation of existing codebase into modern easy to maintain AI assisted codebase.
• Partners with Product on roadmaps, Saas on technical debt, Support on functional issues and with the leadership on longterm platform evolution.
• Work closely with product mgt n provide predictable effort estimation n timelines for every new enhancement (simple user story to a big epic)
• Mentors senior engineers and architects, building a strong engineering culture and succession pipeline. Mentor engineering teams and drive technical excellence

What You Bring

• 15-18 years of experience in software architecture, with continued hands-on coding involvement through the present.
• Able to strike a right balance between short term business commitments, product delivery commitments, and long-term platform stability and reliability.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and reliability patterns
• Strong leadership and cross-functional alignment skills
• Proven experience in GenAI integration is mandatory.
• Deep expertise in AI-assisted coding tools, with demonstrated ability to drive effective adoption across the team, including establishing clear usage guidelines and best practices.
