Job Role: Chief Rolling Stock Expert

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Post-Graduation preferred in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Strong technical foundation in Rolling Stock design, operations, and maintenance

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in Railway / Metro Rolling Stock
• Experience must include Rolling Stock design, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and interface management
• At least 3 years of international experience working on Railway / Metro systems
• Prior experience in senior technical advisory or expert roles preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all Rolling Stockrelated activities for the project
• Review design documents, technical specifications, and interface requirements
• Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide expert guidance on Rolling Stock procurement, performance parameters, reliability, and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with international norms, project specifications, and best engineering practices
• Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance of Rolling Stock
• Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in technical negotiations
• Provide periodic progress reports and recommendations to the client
