About the job:
The role is with a very well known and reputed entertainment chain in India with a yearly turnover of 500+ crores. The role is open only to candidates from F&B, QSR background.
Position Summary:
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for the operation and maintenance of the amusement park. This includes food & beverage, retail, maintenance, landscaping, and administrative supplies. The role ensures cost efficiency, timely delivery, vendor reliability, and adherence to safety and quality standards aligned with the parks operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Procurement
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support park operations and expansions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Manage procurement budgets and track spend analytics to optimize cost efficiency.
2. Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and contractors for equipment, food, merchandise, and maintenance services.
- Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and service-level agreements.
- Conduct periodic supplier audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
3. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate with operations, F&B, and retail teams to forecast procurement needs.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of consumables and critical spare parts.
- Implement effective inventory control systems and monitor reorder points.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, government regulations, and safety standards (IMS standards)
- Prepare and maintain documentation for purchase orders, contracts, and vendor performance records.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the finance team for budget alignment and timely payment processing.
- Support marketing and events teams in procuring promotional materials, dcor, and event equipment.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Introduce e-procurement tools or ERP systems for efficiency.
- Monitor market trends for innovative products and sustainable procurement solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 8 - 10 years in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in hospitality, amusement parks, entertainment, or large-scale facility operations.
Technical Skills:
- ERP/Procurement software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
