Position Title
COO) Precision Components Division
Role Purpose
The CoO Precision Components Division is responsible for defining and executing the long-term strategy, driving operational excellence, and delivering sustainable profitable growth across automotive, MedTech, and industrial valve segments. The role carries full P&L ownership, governance responsibility, and leadership accountability for worldclass manufacturing, quality, technology, and people performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Define and execute the long-term divisional strategy aligned with automotive, MedTech, and valve industry trends, technology roadmaps, and corporate objectives.
- Translate strategy into clear business plans, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes.
- Anticipate market shifts, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to futureproof the division.
2. Operational Excellence & Manufacturing Performance
- Lead end-to-end operations across precision machining, assembly, and finishing.
- Drive world-class performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Productivity (QCDSP).
- Implement and scale Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Industry 4.0, and automation initiatives.
- Ensure capacity planning, OEE improvement, and operational scalability to support growth.
3. Quality, Compliance & Regulatory Governance
- Ensure full compliance with applicable standards and regulations, including IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA, and CE requirements.
- Build a zero-defect, first-time-right culture with robust risk management, APQP, PPAP, validation, and audit systems.
- Act as the ultimate owner of quality and regulatory governance for the division.
4. Customer & Market Leadership
- Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with OEMs and Tier1 customers.
- Drive customer satisfaction, long-term contracts, and preferred-supplier status.
- Promote co-development, value engineering, and early supplier involvement initiatives.
5. Financial Performance & P&L Ownership
- Own full divisional P&L, including revenue growth, margin expansion, and cash flow.
- Drive disciplined cost management, pricing strategy, and capital efficiency.
- Approve and govern CapEx, working capital, and ROI-based investment decisions.
6. Technology, Innovation & Engineering Excellence
- Champion advanced manufacturing and precision engineering capabilities.
- Lead innovation in CNC machining, micro-machining, materials science, tooling, and digital manufacturing.
- Strengthen NPI, design-for-manufacturing, and technology differentiation.
7. Supply Chain & Vendor Management
- Build a resilient, cost-effective, and compliant supply chain.
- Oversee supplier qualification, sourcing strategy, localization, and dual-sourcing for risk mitigation.
- Drive supplier development, cost reduction, and quality improvement programs.
8. People Leadership & Talent Development
- Build and lead high-performance leadership and functional teams.
- Develop technical, operational, and managerial talent with strong succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, safety excellence, and ethical conduct.
9. Business Development & Growth Initiatives
- Identify and execute organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
- Lead new market entry, product portfolio expansion, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Evaluate M&A opportunities, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
10. Governance, ESG & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure strong corporate governance, ethical standards, and ESG compliance.
- Maintain transparent communication with the Board, shareholders, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Represent the division in industry forums, audits, and strategic reviews.

- Revenue growth and EBITDA margin
- ROCE / ROI on capital employed
- Customer satisfaction and retention
- Quality metrics (PPM, audit outcomes, recalls)
- OTIF delivery and productivity (OEE)
- Safety (LTIFR) and ESG metrics
- Talent retention and leadership bench strength
Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial preferred).
- MBA or advanced management qualification is highly desirable.
Experience
- 25+ years of experience in precision components, automotive, MedTech, or industrial manufacturing.
- Proven COO / Business Head / Divisional Head experience with full P&L ownership.
- Strong exposure to regulated manufacturing environments and global customers.
