Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

Oversee daily operations across diagnostic labs, collection centers, and regional hubs.
Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and turnaround time (TAT) improvement.
Implement SOPs, quality systems, and process automation across locations.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with NABL, CAP, ISO, CLIA, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Lead quality assurance, audits, risk management, and accreditation initiatives.
Maintain highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.

Business Scaling & Expansion:

Lead geographic expansion, new lab setups, franchise models, and M&A integration.
Oversee capacity planning, equipment utilization, and vendor management.
Support new test menu expansion including molecular diagnostics, genomics, and specialty testing.

Financial & Performance Management:

Own operational P&L, cost controls, productivity metrics, and margin improvement.
Define KPIs for labs, logistics, manpower, and service delivery.
Work closely with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.

Technology & Digital Transformation:

Drive adoption of LIS, middleware, automation, AI-enabled diagnostics, and digital workflows.
Improve data visibility, reporting, and decision-making across operations.

People & Leadership:

Lead multi-disciplinary teams including lab ops, logistics, procurement, and admin.
Build leadership bench strength and succession planning.
Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and patient-centricity.

Key Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with medical leadership, sales, marketing, IT, and regulatory teams.
Liaise with hospital partners, doctors, vendors, and government bodies.
Represent operations in board meetings and investor reviews.

Qualifications & Experience:

Postgraduate degree in Healthcare Management, Operations, MBA, or related field.
15+ years of experience in diagnostics, pathology, healthcare services, or hospital operations.
Proven experience in scaling multi-location diagnostic networks.
Strong exposure to NABL/CAP accreditation and lab operations.
Experience with automation, digital health, or AI diagnostics is a plus.
