The company currently operates manufacturing plants in Ahmedabad, Halol, and Surat , along with filling and distribution facilities, including a depot in Rajkot . AOPL delivers customer-centric, site-specific solutions , adhering to stringent safety, quality, and industrial standards for all products and equipment.
In line with its long-term growth strategy, AOPL is actively planning to expand its footprint by establishing new gas filling stations across Gujarat and in neighboring states . This expansion is aimed at strengthening regional supply capabilities, improving customer proximity, and supporting growing industrial and healthcare demand.
AOPLs capabilities extend beyond gas supply to include cryogenic supply systems, engineering, construction, installation, training, and ongoing maintenance , enabling end-to-end solutions for its customers.
Role Description
The Chief of Strategy Implementation & Integration is a senior, execution-focused leadership role responsible for translating strategic intent into operational reality across the organization. This role serves as a critical bridge between founder vision, business strategy, and day-to-day execution , ensuring that strategic initiatives are implemented effectively and integrated seamlessly across functions.
Unlike traditional strategy roles, this position is highly hands-on and designed for a lean, growing organization , where ownership, adaptability, and execution speed are essentialparticularly in the context of geographic expansion and new facility setup.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Execution & Ownership
- Translate company vision, expansion plans, and strategic priorities into clear, actionable execution roadmaps
- Lead end-to-end implementation of strategic initiatives, including new filling station projects, from planning to commissioning
- Define priorities, milestones, timelines, and success metrics aligned with business objectives
Cross-Functional Integration
- Ensure alignment and coordination across functions including operations, engineering, sales, finance, compliance, and marketing
- Act as the central integration point to eliminate silos and execution gaps, especially across multi-location operations
- Design and implement simple, scalable operating frameworks suitable for a micro-to-small enterprise with expanding geography
Founder & Leadership Support
- Partner closely with founders and senior leadership to translate growth vision into executable expansion plans
- Act as a strategic advisor while retaining direct ownership of execution
- Identify risks, interdependencies, regulatory considerations, and trade-offs, and proactively recommend solutions
Process & Operating Rhythm
- Establish lightweight governance, dashboards, and review mechanisms (OKRs/KPIs) to track expansion and operational performance
- Drive accountability through structured execution reviews, site-level progress tracking, and corrective actions
- Continuously refine processes to improve speed, clarity, safety, and operational efficiency
Change Management & Growth Readiness
- Lead organizational change required for geographic expansion, new facility integration, and scaling operations
- Support hiring, onboarding, role clarity, and capability development for new locations
- Ensure expansion initiatives are fully embedded into day-to-day operations and performance management systems
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in strategy execution, operations, consulting, or general management , preferably in industrial or infrastructure-led businesses
- Proven experience in executing growth or expansion initiatives , including multi-site or regional operations
- Strong business acumen across commercial, operational, financial, and compliance domains
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, regulated, and resource-constrained environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership communication, and execution skills
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial gases, manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, or energy-related sectors
- Background in management consulting, operations leadership, or transformation roles
- Exposure to greenfield or brownfield projects , site commissioning, or regional expansion
