Chief of Staff to Founders, Social Beat

Location: Work from Office 4 days a week, Chennai

Preferred Past Experience

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in an execution/program management role
• Should have worked in cross-functional environments and been involved with cross-functional teams to drive the startups priorities
• Prior work experience in a hyperscaling startup or in Consulting, PE, VC is a plus

Qualities:

• Self starter with the ability to work in ambiguity, in a fast paced entrepreneurial setup while delivering outcomes in a highly matrixed environment
• Excellent leadership and management qualities
• Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
• Strong Analytical Skills, Process Orientation and structured thinking
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and show resilience in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the 2 founders to identify key priorities and drive strategy/implementation for Social Beat and Influencer.in
• Be a strategic partner and advisor to the Founders, standing in on meetings, challenging ideas and following up on action items with the core leadership team
• Take complete ownership of key initiatives and work with key team members to solve critical, cross-functional problems.
• Provide insight and feedback to assist with the decision-making process
• Aspiration to be in a product or entrepreneurial role in 12-18 months time
• Do market research, competitor research and user research as required
• The role will be dynamic and we are looking for a self starter with the ability to work in ambiguity, in a fast paced entrepreneurial setup
