Job Description

CIO Chief Investment Officer (Financial Services)


This is a senior, credibility-led leadership role with strong external presence.


What this CIO will do:


Own the investment and product thinking across wealth management and financial products

Bring deep understanding of mutual funds, portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk, compliance

Act as the public-facing authority for our financial services vertical

(media interviews, podcasts, PR, market commentary)

Provide institutional credibility with regulators, platforms, and the ecosystem

Set the intellectual and ethical bar for the business research mindset, compliance-first thinking, long-term trust

Reduce founder dependency for market-facing opinions and credibility


This is not a back-office role. This person should be comfortable being:


The face of the financial services vertical

A spokesperson when markets move or major events happen

A senior voice customers and partners can trust instantly


Ideal background:


1525+ years in reputed banks, AMCs, wealth management firms, or large financial institutions

Prior experience in roles like CIO, Fund Manager, Investment Head, or equivalent

Strong SEBI and compliance understanding

Someone who looks, sounds, and operates like a senior institutional leader
