Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for an experienced CFO who will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the financial strategy, ensuring strong governance, and supporting business growth and profitability. The role requires a commercially driven finance leader who can partner with the business across sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership:

- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans

- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team on investments, expansion, and profitability

- Provide insights to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization

2. Business Finance & Commercial Partnering:

- Partner closely with sales, marketing, and category teams to drive topline growth and pricing strategies

- Evaluate new business opportunities, product launches, and market expansions

- Drive ROI-focused decision-making across channels (GT, MT, E-commerce, Exports)

3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes

- Track performance against budgets and provide actionable insights

- Build robust MIS and dashboards for leadership decision-making

4. Controllership & Compliance:

- Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and risk management frameworks

- Oversee accounting, audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance

- Ensure adherence to Indian statutory requirements and global reporting standards (if applicable)

5. Treasury & Fund Management:

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity effectively

- Lead banking relationships, fundraising, and capital structuring

- Optimize cost of capital and manage financial risks

6. Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management:

- Engage with investors, board members, and external stakeholders

- Support fundraising, due diligence, and M&A activities (if applicable)

- Present financial performance and strategic insights to the board

7. Systems & Process Excellence:

- Drive automation and digitization of finance processes

- Implement and strengthen ERP and financial systems

- Build scalable processes to support growth

Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 15-22 years in finance, with significant experience in FMCG / consumer sector

- Proven experience as CFO / Finance Director / Head of Finance

- Strong exposure to commercial finance, FP&A, and business partnering

- Experience in high-growth, PE-backed, or transformation environments is a plus
