Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) located at the company's facilities in Jamshedpur. The CFO will lead the complete finance and accounts function across all three manufacturing units. This role goes beyond reporting it requires building robust financial systems, strengthening internal controls, and aligning finance with long-term growth.

The ideal candidate must be hands-on with Microsoft Business Central ERP and capable of developing disciplined financial processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee finance and accounts for all three manufacturing units

Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets

Develop structured MIS reporting systems for leadership decision-making

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, GST, audits, and tax regulations

Manage working capital, cash flow planning, and banking relationships

Drive cost control mechanisms and improve financial transparency

Monitor inventory valuation, production costing, and margin analysis

Ensure effective implementation and utilization of Microsoft Business Central ERP

Build and strengthen financial systems, SOPs, and internal controls

Standardize accounting processes across all units

Lead and develop the finance and accounts team

System Building Responsibilities

The CFO will be expected to:

Build structured financial reporting frameworks

Create standardized processes for accounting across units

Develop cost tracking systems linked to operations

Implement strong internal control mechanisms

Reduce dependency on individuals by institutionalizing systems

Ensure ERP-driven decision-making instead of manual tracking

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounts, preferably in manufacturing

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Business Central ERP (mandatory)

Experience handling finance for multi-unit or group-level organizations

Deep understanding of accounting standards, statutory compliance, GST, and audits

Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements

Strong system-building mindset

Structured, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
