Location: Mumbai

Salary: Only candidates currently earning 75 LPA CTC or above will be considered.

Experience: Candidates with 15+ years of experience and 5+ years as a CFO

Mandatory: Proven experience in leading a successful IPO and driving large-scale equity/debt fundraising initiatives.

Role Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the companys financial strategy, governance, and capital markets activities. The role requires a senior finance leader with demonstrated experience in fundraising and successful IPO execution, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to partner closely with the CEO and Board to drive sustainable growth and shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership & Governance

• Visionary Strategy: Architect and execute a multi-year financial roadmap that aligns with aggressive growth targets and long-term value creation.
• Board Advisory: Serve as a key advisor to the Board and Audit Committee, providing transparent insights into financial performance, risk profiles, and capital allocation.
• Institutional Governance: Transition the organization from private-sector standards to public-market readiness (e.g., SOX/PCAOB compliance), ensuring "zero-surprise" financial integrity.

2. Capital Markets, Fundraising & IPO Execution

• Capital Acquisition: Lead all equity and debt financing rounds; leverage a deep network of Tier-1 VCs, Private Equity firms, and institutional lenders.
• The IPO Journey: Direct the end-to-end IPO lifecycle, including the selection of underwriters, management of the S-1/DRHP filing, and leading the global investor roadshow.
• Investor Relations (IR): Act as the primary spokesperson to the investment community, crafting a compelling equity story that drives valuation and market confidence.

3. Operational Excellence & System Scaling

• Predictive FP&A: Build a sophisticated Forecasting and Analysis engine that ensures the company consistently hits revenue and EBITDA guidance.
• Digital Transformation: Oversee the migration to enterprise-grade ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP) to automate global consolidation and reporting.
• M&A & Expansion: Lead financial due diligence and integration strategies for strategic acquisitions and international market entries.

4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Team Architecture: Mentor and scale a high-performing finance organization across accounting, treasury, tax, and internal audit.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Ops to translate financial data into actionable business intelligence.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Mandatory: Previous experience as a CFO or VP of Finance through a successful IPO.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. An MBA from a top-tier institution and/or CPA/Chartered Accountant designation is highly preferred.
• Sector Expertise: Experience in [Industry - e.g., SaaS, FinTech, Manufacturing] is preferred but not required if the IPO track record is stellar.
