Chief Financial Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with strong UK client-facing experience and deep exposure to UK dental and healthcare financial frameworks. This executive role is responsible for defining and driving the Groups overall financial strategy, ensuring long-term financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and scalable growth. The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the Board, and senior leadership, providing commercial insight and financial governance across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the Groups financial strategy in alignment with long-term business objectives.
• Provide strategic financial leadership to the Board and senior leadership team, supporting key decision-making.
• Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure robust budgetary control, cash flow optimisation, and cost efficiency across all business units.
• Establish strong financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Ensure full compliance with UK financial regulations and healthcare-specific bodies including GDC, NHS, and CQC.
• Drive financial planning, performance analysis, and scenario modelling to ensure organisational resilience.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team, fostering a high-performance and compliance-driven culture.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders including investors, auditors, banks, and regulators.
• Support acquisitions, expansions, and strategic initiatives through financial due diligence and integration planning.
• Occasional travel to the UK as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professionally qualified: CA / ACCA / CMA / CPA (mandatory).
• 815+ years of progressive senior finance leadership experience.
• Extensive experience in UK dentistry and healthcare finance (essential).
• Strong working knowledge of UK financial regulations and healthcare compliance frameworks (GDC, NHS, CQC).
• Proven experience in board-level reporting, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and ability to operate in a fast-growing, regulated environment.
