Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a high-growth global EdTech organization into its next phase of expansion and sustained profitability. The CEO will hold full P&L accountability and drive strategic direction, operational excellence, innovation, and global market leadership.
This role requires a proven executive with deep experience scaling profitable, technology-driven enterprisespreferably within the EdTech or B2B SaaS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Develop and execute a 35 year strategic growth roadmap aligned with Board and shareholder expectations.
- Drive global expansion, competitive positioning, and innovation strategy.
- Establish measurable organizational goals, KPIs, and accountability systems.
- Foster a culture of innovation, performance excellence, and customer-centricity.
- Communicate strategic priorities effectively to Board, investors, employees, and partners.
- Identify emerging opportunities in global EdTech markets.
2. Financial Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Own complete P&L responsibility across global operations.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining sustainable profitability.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance plans.
- Monitor key metrics including revenue, margins, CAC, LTV, burn rate, and cash flow.
- Ensure cost discipline and strategic capital allocation.
- Present quarterly financial performance to the Board.
- Oversee regulatory compliance, audit standards, and financial governance.
3. Operational Excellence
- Lead execution of strategic initiatives across global business units.
- Optimize processes, systems, and structures for scalability.
- Oversee technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data protection.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure quality standards and compliance frameworks are maintained.
4. Business Development & Growth
- Identify and evaluate new markets, product extensions, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
- Lead negotiations for major enterprise and government contracts.
- Drive diversified revenue streams across regions and segments.
- Develop effective pricing and go-to-market strategies.
5. Product & Technology Strategy
- Oversee product roadmap aligned with market needs and profitability targets.
- Drive innovation in digital learning platforms and user experience.
- Ensure scalable and secure technology infrastructure.
Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
6. Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build and mentor a high-performing executive leadership team.
- Establish succession planning and talent development frameworks.
- Implement performance management and incentive systems.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and global collaboration.
- Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives.
7. Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong Board engagement and transparent reporting.
- Oversee governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, investor events, and media engagements.
- Strengthen relationships with investors, regulators, and strategic stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Required).
- MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification (Preferred).
Experience
- 10+ years of executive leadership experience.
- Minimum 7 years in CEO or equivalent C-suite role.
- Demonstrated success scaling technology-driven businesses profitably.
- Proven P&L management experience across multi-region operations.
- Experience growing revenue from $50M+ to $500M+ preferred.
- Strong investor relations and fundraising exposure.
- EdTech or B2B SaaS industry experience highly desirable.
