Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Visionary Leadership & Strategic Direction

  • Define & Communicate Vision for Global B2C and B2B growth: Articulate a clear, compelling vision for the brand and companys global growth across both B2C and B2B. Align team goals, product development, and marketing strategies around this vision.
  • Long-term Strategy: Partner with the Founder and develop and implement long-term strategies for sustainable growth, market differentiation, and brand positioning in the hair fashion and beauty omni-channel commerce industry.
  • Market Analysis: Stay on top of market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer experience initiatives.

2. Sales, Marketing & Brand Development

  • Sales and Marketing Lead B2C and B2B sales & marketing, brand collaborations, and strategies that amplify brands story.
  • Brand Building: Shape and strengthen the companys brand identity through consistent messaging, visual design, and content strategies across all digital platforms.
  • Growth & Customer Acquisition: Develop and oversee strategies for customer acquisition through performance marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, and organic channels.
  • Customer Experience: Establish an exceptional customer experience by improving website performance, personalizing customer service, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment.
  • Social & Influencer Strategy: Leverage partnerships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and social media channels to build community and amplify brand presence.
  • New Category Expansion: Identify and launch new fashion/lifestyle categories aligned with our brand DNA and market demand.

3. Execution & Operational Management

  • Business Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including inventory management, customer service, website optimization, logistics, and fulfillment.
  • Product and Assortment Strategy: Work closely with the product team to define the product offering, ensuring it meets market demand and aligns with customer preferences.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensure effective supply chain and inventory management systems are in place, including vendor negotiations, pricing strategies, and timely delivery to customers.
  • Supply Strategy: Lead end-to-end supply planning, sourcing, vendor development, and operations for B2C sales.
  • Assortment: Drive assortment completeness, optimize COGS, manage sell-through, and ensure seamless supply across all sales channels.
  • Establish Standard Operating Processes: Define and optimize SOPs across all functions including demand, Supply, product, warehouse, fulfilment, and logistics.
  • Leverage tools and tech: Implement tools and tech to drive scale, visibility, automation, and efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong, strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, logistics partners, and category vendors. Ensure quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks are consistently met.

4. Financial Oversight

  • Budgeting & Financial Planning: Oversee financial planning including putting AOPs and quarterly operating plans together, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the business is meeting its financial goals and maintaining a healthy cash flow.
  • Revenue Growth: Monitor key metrics across sales, customer acquisition/retention, contribution margins, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive profitability.
  • Cost optimization: Monitor and devise strategies to reduce and optimize key costs across supply, manpower, supply chain and other operational costs

5. Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build & Lead the Team: Recruit, hire, and retain top talent across all departments (sale, marketing, supply, production, operations etc.). Build a strong leadership team to handle day-to-day operations.
  • Company Culture: Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative company culture that reflects the brands values and motivates employees.
  • Coaching & Development: Mentor senior leadership and ensure the team is continuously developing through professional growth opportunities.

6. Technology & Innovation

  • Tech Stack & E-commerce Tools: Oversee the selection and optimization of e-commerce platforms, CMS (content management systems), and other tools to streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and drive sales.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of technological trends in fashion e-commerce, such as AI-driven personalized shopping experiences and sustainable fashion solutions.

7. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Legal Compliance: Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to ensure the company complies with industry regulations, intellectual property laws, tax laws, and privacy regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks to the business and take proactive steps to mitigate them, such as data security, operational risks, or supply chain disruptions
