About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead commercial governance across our manufacturing business. This role is not a sales position . It is a senior, analytically driven role focused on margin protection, pricing discipline, inventory optimization, and working capital efficiency .


The CCO will work closely with the CFO and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Sourcing, Inventory Planning, Finance, and Operations to drive sustainable profitability.


Key Responsibilities


Commercial & Margin Management

  • Own gross margin analysis and forecasting by product, customer, and channel
  • Track budget vs actual margin performance and drive corrective actions
  • Establish margin benchmarks and governance frameworks
  • Identify and prevent price leakage and margin erosion


Pricing Strategy & Governance

  • Lead product pricing strategy supported by strong analytics and logic
  • Implement pricing discipline, discount controls, and approval mechanisms
  • Govern pricing exceptions across channels and customers


Inventory & Working Capital

  • Own inventory valuation, aging, provisioning, and SOR turns
  • Monitor and manage slow-moving, non-moving, and dead stock
  • Drive action plans to improve inventory velocity
  • Support working capital optimization initiatives


Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and manage weekly CFO dashboards covering margin, pricing, inventory, and working capital
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership


Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a commercial business partner to Sales, Sourcing, Inventory Planning, Finance, and Operations
  • Strengthen finance and operations coordination
  • Support product and commercial strategy with profitability-led insights


Required Experience & Skills

  • 1015+ years of experience in commercial finance, pricing, or profitability-focused roles
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or vertically integrated business is essential
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Margin analysis & forecasting
  • Inventory valuation & provisioning
  • Pricing governance & discount control
  • Working capital optimization
  • Advanced analytical capabilities (Excel, BI tools, ERP systems)
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills


Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
  • Key stakeholders: Sales, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Finance, Operations
