Job Description
We are partnering with a fast-scaling, investor-backed startup that is building a category-defining business in its space. As part of its next phase of growth, the company is looking to appoint a Chief Business Officer (CBO) to drive revenue acceleration, market expansion, and enterprise-scale execution.
This is a P&L leadership role with direct ownership of commercial strategy, revenue growth, and business scalability.
The Mandate
- Own and drive end-to-end revenue strategy across sales, partnerships, growth, and new market expansion
- Build scalable go-to-market (GTM) architecture across geographies and segments
- Establish high-performance sales and business development teams
- Lead pricing strategy, monetization models, and margin optimization
- Identify and execute strategic partnerships, alliances, and enterprise deals
- Drive fundraising narratives alongside founders and investors
- Translate product capability into commercial success
- Build dashboards, forecasting discipline, and performance metrics
- Develop expansion strategy (new verticals / new geographies)
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board
What Were Looking For
- 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience
- Proven track record of scaling revenue from early-stage to growth stage
- Strong exposure to startups / high-growth environments
- Experience leading P&L and managing large revenue targets
- Deep expertise in sales strategy, partnerships, and GTM execution
- Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision making
- Experience working with investors / fundraising preferred
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
