Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chess Instructor. The Chess Instructor will be responsible for teaching chess to students of diverse age groups, preparing lesson plans, and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in players. Responsibilities also include organizing training sessions, tracking students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and encouraging a love for chess. Collaboration with students, parents, and the educational team to ensure an engaging learning experience will be a key part of the role.
Qualifications

Strong knowledge and skills in Chess, including strategies and game techniques
Proficiency in Mathematics, with the ability to teach problem-solving concepts effectively
Experience in Teaching, Tutoring, or Training students, preferably in online formats
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students
Patience, adaptability, and a student-focused teaching approach
Prior experience in competitive chess or completion of certifications in chess instruction is beneficial
Basic familiarity with online teaching tools and learning management systems
