Chess Coach

We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Chess Coach to join our team and inspire users through the game of chess. This role involves delivering structured chess lessons. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both Chess and English, and the ability to foster a creative and engaging learning environment that motivates users to keep coming back.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and draft a structured chess curriculum for beginner to advanced levels.

- Create detailed lesson plans aligned with defined learning outcomes and skill progression.

- Develop comprehensive study materials, including explanations, examples, puzzles, exercises, and assessments.

- Break down complex chess concepts into simple, engaging, and app-friendly learning modules.

- Ensure content is engaging, motivating, and suitable for a global / US-based audience.

- Use modern chess tools, engines, and online platforms to enhance training effectiveness.

- Stay updated with contemporary chess trends, training techniques, and competitive strategies.

- Create an engaging and motivating learning environment that encourages long-term commitment to chess.

- Collaborate with internal teams to align coaching objectives with broader learning goals.

Requirements:

- Strong command of chess fundamentals and advanced concepts.

- Prior experience as a Chess Coach or Trainer in academies, schools, clubs, or online platforms.

- Participation in district, state, national, or international chess tournaments (preferred).

- Strong verbal communication skills in English.

- Familiarity with chess software, online coaching tools, and game analysis platforms.
