Chemical Decontamination Supervisor

Location: Refinery / Petrochemical Sites (India & Overseas)

Midchem Technology Private Limited is looking for an experienced Chemical Decontamination Supervisor to lead and execute refinery and petrochemical decontamination projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of refinery equipment and the ability to manage site execution safely and efficiently.

Supervise and execute chemical decontamination activities in refinery and petrochemical units.

Handle liquid phase and vapor phase decontamination processes.

Execute decontamination of refinery units such as CDU / VDU, Hydrotreater, Coke Drum, Heat Exchangers, Columns, and Piping systems.

Understand and interpret P&IDs, drawings, and method statements for execution planning.

Coordinate with client representatives, safety teams, and project managers at site.

Ensure safe chemical handling, dosing, circulation, and monitoring of process parameters.

Supervise manpower, equipment setup, pumps, tanks, burners, and chemical dosing systems.

Maintain daily site reports, chemical consumption records, and job completion documentation.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, refinery safety protocols, and permit systems.

Troubleshoot operational issues during chemical circulation and decontamination processes.

Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.

510 years experience in refinery chemical cleaning or decontamination projects.

Strong understanding of refinery equipment and plant operations.

Ability to lead site teams and coordinate with clients.

Willingness to travel to refinery and international project sites.

Experience in refinery shutdown and maintenance projects.

Knowledge of chemical cleaning, passivation, and decontamination procedures.

Experience handling pumps, circulation systems, and chemical dosing setups.
