As a Pastry Chef at Ambrosia, you will play a key role in end-to-end pastry productionfrom preparation and finishing to quality control and kitchen hygiene. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with creativity, discipline, and pride in their craft.
- Execute daily pastry production efficiently while meeting order volumes, timelines, and quality benchmarks
- Prepare a range of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods in line with Ambrosias recipes and standards
- Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation across all products
- Maintain impeccable hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines
- Oversee proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO)
- Manage inventory levels, place ingredient requisitions, and minimize wastage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen at all times
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Contribute ideas for product improvements, seasonal specials, or new dessert concepts (preferred)
- Minimum3 years of hands-on professional pastry experience(bakery, patisserie, hotel, or luxury dessert brand preferred)
- Strong foundation in pastry techniques, baking principles, and dessert finishing
- High attention to detail with a refined sense of aesthetics and presentation
- Sound knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with consistency and precision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a collaborative team mindset
